TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER SCIENTIST

AliveDx is recruiting for a Tech Transfer Scientist to join the Manufacturing team based at our site near Edinburgh (EH26 0BF).  The incumbent will be responsible for the management of technology transfer processes, from development through to manufacture. The role is a full time, permanent position working flexible working hours.

YOUR MISSION 
Your main responsibilities will include:
–    Execute successful technology transfer activities to succeed in the delivery of all items required to manufacture a new product
–    Lead a risk process approach of new design to be implemented
–    Participate in the generation of all documentation needed for the Development of the design and for the implementation of manufacturing processes.
–    Lead and drive the preparation of validation batches, providing support/training to the impacted departments as needed.
–    Drive and manage Non-Conformances, CAPA and Change Controls relative to Tech Transfer activities.
–    Participate in ‘in-house’ programme of continuous training and assessment

YOUR COMPETENCIES
–    Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering (i.e: Biochemistry, Biology) or equivalent
–    Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry within GMP environment.
–    Knowledge in Blood Grouping Reagents, products and processes
–    Project management mindset and ability to handle high pressure situations with a pro-active mindset.
–    Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
