PROJECT MANAGER

 

AliveDx is recruiting for a Project Manager to lead on Operational and Transformational projects. This position sits within our Operations department based near Edinburgh (EH26 0BF). As Operations & Transformation Project Manager, you will lead and deliver operational improvement and business transformation initiatives across AliveDx’s ALBA business. Working closely with operational and functional leaders, you will translate strategic objectives into structured, deliverable projects that improve processes, enhance efficiency and support sustainable business growth. 

 

The role is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working available.

 


YOUR MISSION

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of operations and transformation projects, from business case development and scoping through to implementation, benefits realisation and close-out.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resources, budgets and delivery milestones, ensuring effective control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish and maintain effective project governance, including steering committees, status reporting, RAID management and stakeholder communications.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction, managing dependencies and ensuring effective collaboration across the organisation.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating appropriately to project sponsors and senior leadership.
  • Drive change management and adoption activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications and training.
  • Where applicable, provide leadership and support to Project Managers and Project Coordinators, including coaching, performance management and professional development.

 

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering or a related discipline, with a demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Demonstratable experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering operational improvement and/or transformation projects.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong experience managing the full project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, resourcing, execution, governance and benefits tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of project management and process improvement methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma and change management principles
  • Experience using project management and reporting tools, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with business case development, budget modelling, KPI definition and benefits realization.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organised, structured and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum, and/or Lean Six Sigma certification, would be advantageous.
