Production Operator

PRODUCTION OPERATOR 

AliveDx are recruiting for a Production Operator to join our Operational Support team based at our site near Penicuik (EH26 0BF). The purpose of this roles is to support manufacturing teams with the manufacture of high-quality diagnostic products in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The roles is full-time, permanent working 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 0600-1400, 0930- 1730 and 1400 – 2200. 

YOUR MISSION

The main responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of orders for manufacturing departments.
• Cleaning, preparation and autoclaving of general equipment and consumables.
• Clean store requisitions for manufacturing departments.
• Maintaining work environments according to the requirements of GMP and relevant Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Participate in 5S, COSHH and any other HSE activities.
• Maintain accurate stock control of cleaning products, clean room attire, and environmental monitoring plates.

YOUR COMPETENCIES 

• Standard Grade or equivalent in English and Mathematics

• Experiance in similar industry or lab based enviroment is desirable

• Excellent communication, attention to detail and IT skills

• Experience of working in a fast paced, team-working environment

• Fluent spoken and written English

• Experience within a GMP laboratory environment desirable

• Should ideally be available to work occasional weekend overtime when required
