PRODUCTION OPERATOR

 

AliveDx is recruiting for a Production Operator to join our Formulation team within Manufacturing, based near Edinburgh (EH26 0BF). This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.

 

As a Production Operator in the Formulation team, you will play a key role in manufacturing high-quality diagnostic products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Working as part of a collaborative production team, you will ensure products are manufactured safely, accurately and to agreed quality and production schedules while contributing to continuous improvement across the department.


YOUR MISSION

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manufacturing diagnostic products to specification and agreed production schedules.
  • Preparing buffers and reagents, including filtration and filling activities within clean room environments.
  • Performing formulation processes, including antibody adsorption, plasma-to-serum conversion, and the concentration, potentiation, dilution and formulation of monoclonal antibodies.
  • Completing manufacturing documentation and TROPOS transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining GMP, GDP and Health & Safety standards at all times.
  • Carrying out equipment checks and maintaining clean, safe and compliant working areas.
  • Maintaining accurate stock control and performing mathematical calculations to support manufacturing activities.
  • Participating in continuous training, process improvements and the review of SOPs and manufacturing documentation.

 

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • Experience working within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good numeracy skills and confidence performing accurate calculations.
  • Basic IT skills with the ability to work with electronic manufacturing systems such as TROPOS and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing your own workload.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to work across different manufacturing areas when required.
  • Standard Grade (or equivalent) English and Mathematics.
  • The ability to work in clean room environments and undertake manual handling activities in line with role requirements.
