HEAD OF OPERATIONS

 

AliveDx is recruiting for a Head of Operations to join the Supply Chain team based near Edinburgh (EH26 0BF).  This is a senior leadership role responsible for supply chain, logistics, business reporting, cost management, budgeting, and sales operations. This individual ensures that the company’s operational processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with strategic goals.
 
The role is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday.


YOUR MISSION 
Your main responsibilities will include:
–    Collaborate with the entire Alba leadership team to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
–    Evaluate, identify and implement best practices to enhance productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement.
–    Identify operational risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
–    Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
–    Oversee safety, quality, and environmental standards within operations.
–    Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
–    Implement means to reduce COGs across the organization.
–    Lead and manage all efforts associated with sales forecasting and performance reporting, including, revenue cycling and S&OP commercial representation.
–    Manage all customer product pricing and contracting considerations.
–    Manage all sales operational aspects of our distributor relations.
–    Develop, refine, and maintain sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
–    Act as a bridge between sales, marketing, finance, and other departments.
–    Ensure business decision making systems (i.e. Salesforce.com/ Power BI) reflect and support business reporting needs.
–    Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency, providing regular performance updates and forecasts to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
–    Manage CRM data integrity and accuracy.
–    Analyse sales metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement


YOUR COMPETENCIES
–    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
–    Proven experience in an operational leadership role, preferably within a similar industry.
–    Strong knowledge of operational best practices, process improvement methodologies, and modern technology systems.
–    Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
–    Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and data driven decision-making abilities.
–    Experience with budget management and financial planning.
–    Strong understanding of compliance and risk management principles.
