TEAM LEADER, EQUIPMENT AND PROCESS MANAGEMENT
AliveDx is seeking a Team Leader, Equipment and Process Management to join our Manufacturing Operations Function based in Eysins, Switzerland. This is a full-time and permanent position.
YOUR MISSION
As the Team Leader, Equipment and Process Management you will be at the forefront of driving improvements in process and equipment performance. You’ll ensure reliability, oversee non-conformance investigations and support product transfers for enhanced manufacturing capabilities. Leading a team of skills productions engineers and a bioprocess scientist, you’ll play a vital role in bridging our design and manufacturing teams to optimize equipment and processes for new product integration.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Ensure Equipment & Process Reliability in Manufacturing:
- Monitor and maintain process reliability with KPIs (OEE, Yield, RFT, SPC, etc.) and by optimizing consumables and cleaning processes.
- Lead improvement projects to enhance equipment and process quality for transferred products.
- Conduct and oversee qualifications and validations for equipment and process changes.
- Drive root-cause investigations and use data analysis to address equipment or process issues.
- Implement new testing methods in manufacturing to advance product quality.
Drive manufacturing capacity increases:
- Collaborate with Operations leadership to identify and implement new equipment or process opportunities to meet our growth targets.
- Lead capacity expansion projects through process or equipment scale-ups and Capex investments.
- Oversee qualifications and validations essential for capacity-building initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Safety and Quality Standards:
- Promote GMP, Good Documentation Practices, and safety guidelines across the team.
- Encourage root-cause analysis for potential hazards or incidents, ensuring a safe work environment.
Lead and develop your team:
- Set performance goals, delegate tasks, and support your team to align with company priorities.
- Provide mentorship, development feedback, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert in audits and provide critical insights in weekly operations meetings.
- Champion change management within production and quality systems, ensuring compliance with documentation standards
YOUR COMPETENCIES
- Master’s degree in sciences, technology, bioprocess or engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within the medical device or pharmaceutical sector; experience in Formulation and Fill processes as well as automated equipment is highly desirable.
- Proven Leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in a data-driven setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead in a cross-functional environment.
- Agile mindset to manage complex projects and respond to shifting priorities
- Fluent in both English and French.
