PROCUREMENT

INTERNSHIP - 6 MONTHS

 

Step into a hands-on role within the procurement team, where you will actively contribute to improving our processes. We are seeking a motivated Procurement Intern to Support the Procurement team in improving inventory health, data quality, and supply reliability through analysis, reporting, and process optimization.

 

As Procurement Intern, your role and responsibilities will be:

 

Contract Manufacturer Transition & Operational Support:

  • Structure and standardize shared data files to support onboarding of a new Contract Manufacturer
  • Consolidate and clean supplier price lists to facilitate supplier ownership transfer
  • Support with Quality, Master Data, and the Contract Manufacturer material supplier qualification
  • Track progress of qualification and highlight risks or delays
  • Monitor deliveries to the contract manufacturer, with a focus on high-value or business-critical materials
  • Identify misalignment between delivery dates and actual needs
  • Proactively alert buyers and planners with recommendations to reschedule orders
  • Support prioritization and follow-up of urgent materials (shortage management)

 

Overall Inventory Optimization & Analysis

  • Review inventory levels vs. defined Min/Max parameters for all relevant items
  • Identify discrepancies (unreasonably high value, overstock, stockouts, slow-moving, obsolete)
  • Analyze historical consumption vs. current Min/Max settings
  • Compare planning parameters against forecasts (when available)
  • Propose updated Min/Max levels and safety stock recommendations

 

 

Master Data Quality Improvement

  • Audit key master data fields in ERP (Oracle), including:

MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity), FLM (Fixed Lot Multiplier), Min/Max levels, Lead times, Shelf life

  • Identify missing, inconsistent, or outdated data
  • Coordinate with Master Data team and buyers to correct gaps
  • Track data quality KPIs and progress

 

Reporting & Decision Support (Power BI)

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for:

Inventory health (DOH, excess, shortages), supplier delivery performance, and purchase order tracking

  • Automate data extraction where possible
  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and actionable for buyers

 

 

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a structured, organized approach to work
  • Proactive and hands-on mindset, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions (Procurement, Planning, Quality, Master Data)
  • Comfortable working with data and digital tools; advanced Excel skills are a strong asset, knowledge of Power BI is a plus
  • Fluent in French and proficient in English.
