FORMULATION TECHNICIAN

 

AliveDx is seeking a Formulation Technician to join our Manufacturing Team based in Eysins, Switzerland. This is full-time and permanent position.

 

YOUR MISSION 

Reporting to the Team Leader Formulation and Fill, you will be responsible for the entire formulation process, from raw material preparation to vial filling and picking for production, all within a controlled environment. Your mission is to ensure full compliance with quality standards (ISO 13485, IVDR, FDA 21 CFR Part 820), contribute to continuous improvement, and uphold the highest Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.

 

More precisely, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Perform formulation operations according to GMP, ISO 13485, and internal procedures.
  • Prepare raw materials, equipment, and batch documentation for production.
  • Ensure complete traceability of operations via Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance in formulation areas.
  • Train new team members and promote best practices.
  • Report non-conformities, participate in root cause analysis, and support CAPA implementation.
  • Review BMRs with the Team Leader and Quality.
  • Participate in internal/external audits and act as a field expert when needed.
  • Contribute to drafting and updating procedures and work instructions.
  • Identify and propose process improvements, and participate in LEAN initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM).
  • Monitor performance indicators (quality, lead times, efficiency).
  • Enforce EHS rules, report risks, and support preventive actions.

 

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • Significant experience in a controlled environment (medical device or pharma preferred).
  • Good knowledge of cGMP.
  • Experience with automated production equipment and clean rooms (ISO 8).
  • Familiarity with semi-automatic equipment and technical environments.
  • Ability to identify and explain technical events and propose corrective actions.
  • Proficient in using PC-based tools for tracking performance and events.
  • Constructive attitude and strong engagement in teamwork.
  • Punctual, flexible, and responsible.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Proactive in continuous improvement and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Fluent in French, English an asset
